People Come, People Go

Silhouettes of people walking along a misty cobblestone street under glowing lamplights

Some characters are never truly in the spotlight.
Sometimes, they are alive.
Sometimes, they are alive—but dead inside.
And perhaps, that is the beauty of being human.

You decide who you want to reveal, when you want to reveal them and which side you want the world to see.

Never be annoyed when people laugh at you in front of others, then speak differently when they are alone with you.

People change.
People pretend.
People come and go.

Let them.
At some point, you learn that the only company you truly need is your own.

Enjoy your silence.
Understand your own chaos.
Be comfortable with the person you become when nobody is watching.

Because when everyone has left,
when every character has played its part,
when every voice has faded—
the only thing that remains with you is your Soul.
